The Thanksgiving holiday is filled with many family traditions.  Having grown up near Detroit, I have memories of watching the J.L. Hudson Parade, the Lions vs Packers football game, and a foot of snow on the ground.  But Steve grew up in Miami, and his personal holiday tradition was hoping for a winter swell and a good surf session before his big turkey dinner.  So without promoting the cliché of “all we do in Hawaii is go to the beach and surf”, today’s post is a short little video of Steve’s Thanksgiving surf session.  A favorite spot not too far from our house known in the guide books as “Secret Beach”.   Video is courtesy of our 14 year old and his GoPro.  So here’s hoping you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday, whatever your tradition may be.  With a very thankful Aloha from Kauai.
